Default Folding camp chair for hunting?

Ok, I've used stools for years when hunting from the ground outside of a blind, but since using my folding camp chair IN the blind the last couple of years, I was wondering if any of you ever just walk in the woods with your folding chair, open it up and sit in some downed limbs or grass? Pro cons? Hard to turn around to shoot vs level of comfort?? Thx

Yep...mainly while gun hunting. I prefer to use a tree seat though. The tree helps break up my outline & I don't have to worry about being on level ground like I would with a fold out chair. Last year I had a young buck chase a doe within 10' of me & neither one of them knew I was there. The tree seat I use is this New Millennium tree seat. They come in OD green now.

I also use a tree seat too. Last fall my brother in law and I made a blind just using sticks and branches in the woods. I enjoy still hunting on the ground it's a real challenge.

I like that tree seat. I'm going to have to look Into gettinf one of those. Better idea to me than trying to use a fold up chair just anywhere and not in a blind where you have some level ground

Thank you.. we used the folding chairs tonight and although they were comfy, level ground was hard to find.. and you couldn't get close to a tree with the roots.... this tree seat fits the bill! Thank you!
