New toy on the way !!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Happened on to a smokin' deal on a (next thing to) new scattergun. Pennies on the dollar from new is hard for me to pass up and even the Mrs. understands a good sale when she sees one.

Have a Super X3 due in within a day or two. It's a 3 1/2" chamber 28" barrel waterfowl model. On the down-side............it does have a Moldy Oak Shadow Grass dipped finish. Guess I'll have to shoot stuff before it sees what camo pattern the gun is sporting.

Here's what one looks like with a good ol' Realtree finish on it:

Send a picture of the real thing if you would. That one looks sweet.

Lynn

Will do............. when I get my hands on it.

Stopped the mail carrier on a dirt road this morning and asked him if he had it. He delivers to my FFL dealer. No go. Maybe Monday.

what gun? can't see the picture. all i see is marshy grass twigs and leaves. i bet it still goes boom, boom, boom though.

Still saying "what gun ?" here too. Hasn't arrived yet.

Probably does go "boom, boom, boom" except faster than one of them over-priced B-guns and without the Louisiana accent. ;)

New toy on the way !!!!!!!!

Just an idea for ya. There's a company I go through the sporting goods store near me that sends guns, bows, etc to get dipped in any camo pattern you want and it's not a bad price. I got an 870 express I had as a briar beater dipped in realtree ap and it looks awesome and the finish holds up great. Just an idea for ya.

What about the removal of the camo dip that's on the gun now ? How's that work ?

My husband and I own a gunshop in Iowa. Super X3s run out of our door faster than we can get them in. Everyone seems to love them and we haven't had any come back into the shop with any issues. Enjoy and happy hunting!!:)

I'm not sure they do remove the original factory camo Don. Here's a place that does weapons and other things, they even did some stuff for American Choppers. Give them a look see.

Picked the gun up last nite.

Took it out turkey hunting this morning. Walked about 3 miles and saw ZERO turkey sign. Going out again in the morning.

Will get a pic up when the gun stops moving. ;)
