Mossburg 930?

Recommended Posts

I am considering a Mossberg 930 shotgun; 3”, 26”barrel as a turkey gun. I need moderate cost, lower recoil, drilled and tapped for optics and available parts and service. What say you? Thanks…

Mossberg makes a great shotgun. One of my all time favorites is the 500. There really isnt much fancy about the mossberg line of shotguns but they are great utility guns that get the job done.

I have owned several and wouldnt hesitate to buy another. If I buy another semi-auto it will likely be a 935. Ive had so much luck with the 500', 535's, and 835's I wouldnt hesitate to buy another.

Mossebergs make good qaulity reasonably priced shotguns. The reason they cost less is that they use alloy instead of steel in their receivers. This leads to cost savings for several different reasons. The only time the alloy receiver is a problem is if you are a trap shooter and will be putting hundreds of rounds a week through the gun. The normal person using a mossberg for hunting will never wear one out.
